Sorry to announce this but I am closing all my sims sites in February 2005. I can't seem to please everyone, and after 4 years I think its time to call it a day. A huge sorry to those who have supported me.. but its not fun anymore. I know it may seem silly to close because of a few ney-sayers.. but its the little things, being moaned at because I don't share every single thing I have ever made, moaned at for not updating often enough... Kissez -SimderZ- xXx 2nd September 2004 ** STATEMENT ABOUT TS2 SKINS & SIMDERELLA'S** As The Sims 2 fast approches I am being asked quite a lot if I will be making skins for it.. The answer is yes.... BUT... not for my own site. Simderella's has recently been the victim of a vile theft of my skins, some ghastley baboon of a 'person' outright stole my work, cannibalized what they wanted and claimed copyright over them and put them up on the dreaded sims 2 showcase as vomitous looking TS2 skins. I do not use photo's in my skins, all my textures are hand drawn or rendered in 3d made by me, so i know my work instantly and have backed up digimarc'd copies in locked PSD format & PNG. To help to cut down on this trend of using parts of ts2 skins and claiming them as your own, my ts2 skins will most likely be exclusive to 8th Deadly Sim & others... Apart from the theft side of things, the file sizes are quite HUGE, this site wouldn't be able to handle them. I am sorry about this.... Until Maxis puts out a way to offer a bit more protection to creators I won't put my hard work out to cut & pasted to hell.. LOL.... Although i know this is dissapointing, so i will from time to time put 'Special' limited edition TS2 skins up for download here.... I hope you will enjoy them even more ;) SimderZ xXx 4th March 2004 I have just noticed after searching my downloaded skins that some people mistakingly use the prefix S300 on some of the buyable swimwear thinking that an S300 mesh was included with Hot Date, infact no such mesh exsists. So I have created one, you can download it on the Anthrax Baby - Wonderland page... Please take a moment to READ the readme text file.... Also, someone wrote and told me that some people may be offended by the pictures of my nude sims and perhaps I should think about censoring them... I am 29 and am not going to censor my sims, as they are not shown in any kind of pornographic way, so incase you can't handle seeing naked pixels, please avoid the nude replacment page.. teehee ....... Thanks xxx 27th Feb 2004 This is a very very temporary possible solution to the endless streams of emails I am getting about my awful bandwidth problems.. This is stressing me out a little... I am starting to not look forward to updating :( Although I do appreciate the fact that this must mean that you all are enjoying our creations. I have dumped the latest updates onto a crappy geocities site. You will find the download links on the 'Mirror' page at the bottom of the menu bar on the left. I am aware that that geocities will also run out of bandwidth pretty fast, so please do not email me telling me this. I will be retiring 'Skins - Old', 'Camilla' and the 'Heads' page by the end of February. So if you want them, grab them quick. The reason i am removing them is they are whats left of my very first Simderella site from 3 years ago.. They make me cringe when i look at them as they are not up to the standard I am comfortable offering. Please rename: C794FalFitgt_ABQueenHeartPale.bmp to C794Falgt_ABQueenHeartPale.bmp and C794FalFitgt_ABQueenHeart.bmp to C794Falgt_ABQueenHeart.bmp The 'Fit' bit shouldn't be there this time... Appologies about that ;) The four skin zips have now been updated. If you can't be bothered to rename (renaming would be the better option) then you can re-download them. I would like move to a different webhost, but that would mean making this site subscription based, meaning you would have to pay to be a member.. "We have been having problems with one of our network service providers which has meant that over the last few days some of you may have noticed some effects such as: Slow loading times 'Host unknown' errors Site not loading Emails to moonfruit.com addresses not getting through The problem was identifiied and fixed yesterday morning, but due to the nature of the net, the fix did take a few hours to propagate around the net. This is the first time we have experienced a problem of this nature, and the first 'downtime' we have had for over 14 months - so please be assured that this kind of thing is rare, and we have taken precautions to ensure it does not happen again.
